"Chi Running" and "Born to Run" is my suggesstions. The first to keep you injury free and the second will actually make you want to run. Good Luck and maybe I will see you in Leavenworth (If I can talk the wife into it). After all misery loves company, and a half marathon sounds miserable.

I'm with you Pat! I'm sure the next scandal is the proof that el pistolero has hired some Spanish gypsies to hex Lance! Unbelievable bad luck! He needs to add a cross to that Texas charm he wears to make sure he gets out of this Tour alive! Happy Birthday!

Hey, Pat- that reminds me of a story about my John. In the early 90's, when he first switched from regular pedals to clips, he got a little too cocky in them. He was riding on 29th approaching Southeast Blvd, when the light turned yellow, then red. He slowed down to stop with traffic and could not get his shoes out of the clips. Tipped right over on to the sidewalk in front of Blockbuster! Broke his elbow, bruised is face and burned his ego!!! He never forgot that experience. He practiced just getting in and out of his clips in his garage for weeks afterward. He never had a problem getting out of his clips after that. When he bought the Bianchi in '95, he dreaded learning new clips, but he practiced and practiced so he wouldn't fall over at a race. And he never did. Tell Jackson that is it a rite of passage for serious cyclists.....

there were still almost 30 racers behind us.

...after getting dropped we evolved into chase group 1.
